I was absolutely thrilled to have been invited to present at the 2024 Biomarkers of Aging Conference at Harvard Medical School this November! This prestigious event, hosted by the Biomarkers of Aging Consortium, brings together leading scientists from around the world to tackle one of the most pressing challenges in longevity research—developing and validating reliable biomarkers of aging.
This conference showcased cutting-edge research spanning genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, and epigenomics, highlighting the multi-omic approaches that are revolutionizing our understanding of biological aging. It was an incredible opportunity to exchange ideas with experts, discuss the latest breakthroughs, and explore how we can translate these insights into clinical applications to extend healthspan.
I am deeply grateful to Harvard and the Biomarkers of Aging Consortium for this opportunity to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the conversation. Events like this push the field forward, helping us refine the tools needed to measure aging at the molecular level and test interventions that could promote healthy longevity.
Looking forward to continuing these discussions and seeing how this research evolves in the subsequent BoA consortiums. Hopefully won’t be the last time I visit this immaculate city where the innovation pulses through the halls of academia, stands as a timeless bridge between the past and the future.
P.S If I’m not on the invite list for next year I’m still retruning for those butter lobster rolls…1
